The highest class respirators are called FFP3 (efficiency min. 98%) and have an exhalation valve. Such a respirator will protect you perfectly, unfortunately not people in your area anymore, because you exhale everything through the valve. This is why you should cover the valve with a drape. The respirator protects you from particles from the outside environment. For example, from dust, microorganisms or dangerous gases. So if you wear a respirator properly, it will protect you better than the veil itself. The respirator fits better on the face and the veil often does not fit close to the face. 

Quite often, over time, either the rubber band or the veil itself is pulled out on the drape. Of course, a veil is also a great way to protect yourself. The abbreviation of the respirator FFP means "filtering facepiece", translated as a face filter mask. The numbers after the abbreviation indicate the European standard of protection. The second most effective respirator is FFP2, this type of respirator does not have an exhalation valve. The lowest permitted overall efficiency is 92%. Furthermore, the FFP1 respirator has the lowest permitted overall efficiency (78%). A new type of coronavirus, which is reportedly more potent, has recently arrived in the Czech Republic. 

Unfortunately, it is still unclear to what extent the veils are effective against him. Therefore, it is recommended to wear the highest protection respirator (FFP3), but these are costly. The FFP2 respirator is beginning to be used as a common standard and the most used.
